ESU Defeats Millersville Convincingly in 21-Point Victory

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University men's basketball team delivered a dominant performance at Koehler Fieldhouse this afternoon, defeating Millersville 89-67.

The Warriors (17-5, 11-4) hold on to second place in the PSAC East standings, while the Marauders (13-9, 9-6) remain in fourth.

Notable Performances
Lakeem McAliley led the Warriors with 24 points, shooting 11-of-17 from the field and 50% from beyond the arc.

Evan Morton added 16 points and dished out five assists in just 19 minutes of action.

Cam Young delivered a perfect 4-of-4 from the field and went 4-of-5 from the free-throw line for 12 points.

Ethan Milliron contributed nine points, shooting 3-of-5 from three-point range.

How It Happened
The Warriors exploded out of the gate with a commanding 20-point lead in the first 10 minutes, quickly establishing control of the game. At one point, East Stroudsburg extended its lead to 24 points before the Marauders cut the deficit to 10 at the half, with ESU ahead 44-33.

Millersville attempted a comeback in the second half, narrowing the deficit to within two possessions. However, East Stroudsburg responded decisively, reigniting its offense and extending the lead to 26 points with six minutes remaining. The Warriors never looked back, cruising to an 89-67 win.

The East Stroudsburg men's basketball team will travel to Bloomsburg on Wednesday, Feb. 12, for a PSAC matchup against the Huskies. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
