NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced that the East Stroudsburg University women's lacrosse team has moved to No. 13 in the latest IWLCA Top 25 poll.
The Warriors went 1-1 on the week. After falling early, ESU defeated IUP 19-6, scoring 10 straight goals in the second half.
In Division II, ESU ranks third in save percentage, sixth in clearing percentage and tied for 10th in assists per game.
The Warriors will face two top-10 nationally ranked teams this week. They travel to No. 3 West Chester for a PSAC East matchup on Wednesday, March 12, before heading north to Garden City to take on No. 10 Adelphi on Saturday, March 15.
