Cole Gorham finished as the runner up in the shot put after being seeded No. 4 entering the NCAA Championships.
Gorham's throw of 18.76 meters (61 feet, 6 ¾ inches) set a new personal best and school record, earning him indoor All-America honors for the second consecutive year in the shot put. This marks his first time making the indoor first team.
Gorham is now the only Warrior to earn All-America honors multiple times in the indoor shot put. In the outdoor shot put, Paul Ferency earned All-America honors four times from 1976-79.
The top eight individual finishers are named first team All-Americans, while finishers 9-12 are named second team All-Americans by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
