CHESTER, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University men's track and field team won two events and added 10 more automatic PSAC qualifying marks at the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University this weekend.  

PSAC Qualifiers

• Jalen Gaymon – Shot Put 
• Chris Costa – Pole Vault

Track Highlights 

Nico Gasque won the 100m with an automatic PSAC qualifying time of 10.85. Jaden Johnson earned an automatic PSAC qualifying mark in the 400m with a 49.25 time. 

Tim Gale led the Warriors in the 800m, placing 10th with a 1:57.79 time. Gale also competed in the 1500m, finishing in 4:12.45. Ethan Holcomb placed 13th in the 10000m with an automatic PSAC qualifying time of 31:46.53. 

Gabriel Tsayo placed 13th in the 110m hurdles and 15th in the 400m hurdles. 

In the 3000m steeplechase, Nick Gdowik finished in 9:53.35 to place fourth and earn an automatic PSAC qualifying mark. 

Field Highlights 

In the high jump, Peter Stanislavsky, Jalen Cook, and Daniel Smith all recorded PSAC qualifying marks. Stanislavsky cleared 2.06m (6-9) to place second, Cook cleared 2.01m (6-7) to place fifth, and Smith cleared 1.96m (6-5) to place eighth. Stanislavsky's mark was also an NCAA Provisional. 

Smith also competed in the long jump and claimed first place with an automatic PSAC qualifying mark of 6.97m (22-10 ½). Nasir Heard placed fifth in the long jump with a mark of 6.47m (21-2 ¾), while Stanislavsky placed seventh and Albert Morton placed ninth.  

Chris Costa placed second in the pole vault with a PSAC qualifying mark of 4.40m (14-5 ¼).  

Anthony Voto earned automatic PSAC qualifying marks in three events, while he earned an NCAA Provisional mark in the hammer throw. Voto placed third in the shot put (16.28m, 53-5), third in the discus (45.82m, 150-4), and third in the hammer throw (62.06m, 203-7). 

Jalen Gaymon also competed in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw. Gaymon earned an automatic PSAC qualifying mark in the shot put with his fourth place finish (15.83m, 51-11 ¼). He placed 12th in the discus and 21st in the hammer throw.
