EAST STROUDSBURG, PA. – Ariel Kelsick, a native of Antigua, has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Week after an impressive performance that extended her singles win streak. Over the course of the week, Kelsick posted a perfect 5-0 record in singles and a 1-2 mark in doubles. 

Kelsick earned straight-set singles victories against Messiah, Wilkes, Salem, Lock Haven, and Millersville, pushing her singles streak to 9 straight wins. Additionally, she contributed with a doubles win against Messiah University, alongside Lea Stefanovic. 

Over the course of the week, the Warriors faced five different teams, and Kelsick delivered a 6-2 overall record. In singles, she won all 10 sets played, while holding her opponents to 15 games total (60-15).

Kelsick's stellar performance helped lead the Warriors to their first PSAC win since 2019. The team will next prepare to face West Chester at Stroudsburg High School on Wednesday, April 2nd, with the first serve scheduled for 4 p.m.
