EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — East Stroudsburg University standouts Porschia Bennett and Cole Gorham were named PSAC Field Athletes of the Week for their performances at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Invitational.

Bennett earned the honor following a standout showing in the high jump, placing third overall behind only Division I competition.

Her clearance of 1.73 meters (5 feet, 8 inches) marked a personal best, an NCAA Division II provisional qualifier, and ties teammate Shannon Harnett for the PSAC lead.

The mark also ranks seventh nationally in Division II.

Gorham picked up his second weekly honor of the season after winning the discus throw with a mark of 55.65 meters (182-7).

The performance improves his PSAC-leading mark and ranks seventh in the nation among Division II throwers.
