IRVING, Texas — Eight East Stroudsburg University football student-athletes were named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, the organization announced Wednesday.
 
Tyrese Brandon, Raymond Christas, Noah Hambrick, Andrew Krawczyk, Tyriq Lewis, John Siggins, Dawson Stuart and Kyler Wuestner were among 2,532 college football players recognized nationwide.
 
ESU's eight honorees mark a new program record, surpassing last year's total of six.
 
Tyrese Brandon, an accounting major, totaled 681 all-purpose yards over four seasons, averaging 5.6 yards per carry and 13.5 yards per reception. He scored three touchdowns and forced a fumble.
 
Raymond Christas, an exercise science major, appeared in 46 games as an offensive lineman and earned All-PSAC honors in 2023.
 
Noah Hambrick, a criminal justice major, recorded 167 tackles over four seasons, including 114 solo stops. He added 5.5 tackles for loss, one sack, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
 
Andrew Krawczyk, a sport management major, played in 19 games over the past two seasons. He recorded two tackles, a 14-yard reception, and recovered a fumble for a touchdown.
 
Tyriq Lewis, an exercise science major, played in 45 games over four seasons. He racked up 2,708 all-purpose yards, averaging 5.5 yards per carry and 7.6 yards per reception. He rushed for 22 touchdowns and caught two more.
 
John Siggins, a nursing major, appeared in 45 games across four seasons. He totaled 1,478 all-purpose yards, averaging 16.2 yards per reception, and scored 19 touchdowns.
 
Dawson Stuart, a professional and secondary education major, appeared in 33 games, totaling 370 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns. He also threw a 28-yard touchdown pass.
 
Kyler Wuestner, also a professional and secondary education major, played in 43 games on the offensive line. He is a two-time NFF Hampshire Honor Society honoree.
 
To be eligible, players must hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 and graduate this spring/summer, and just completed their final year of eligibility or be a graduated player who has been out of high school for at least three years.
