LOUISVILLE, Ky. – East Stroudsburg University's Sarah Davenport was named the NFCA Division II National Pitcher of the Week for the third time this season — and the second time this month — the association announced Tuesday.

Earlier in the day, Davenport earned a spot on the All-PSAC East First Team and was also named the PSAC East Pitcher of the Week on Monday.

Over the past week, Davenport tossed 21 shutout innings, struck out 39 batters, and posted a 0.00 ERA while going 3-0. She also broke two ESU single-season records — wins (27) and shutouts (10) — to close out the regular season.

Davenport and the Warriors now turn their focus to the PSAC Championship Tournament at Veterans Park in Quakertown, Pa. ESU, the top seed from the East, will play at 3 p.m. Wednesday against the winner of the IUP–Shippensburg first-round game, which is scheduled for 10 a.m.
