5/12/2025 2:03:00 PM

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. –  The Division II Conference Commissioners Association announced Monday that Abigail Weirich, Sarah Davenport, Delaney Ridgell and Tatum Kresley earned Atlantic Region honors, with Weirich named Player of the Year and Davenport repeating as Pitcher of the Year. This is the first time the Warriors have four All-Region members in team history, breaking their record of three which they set last season.

After winning PSAC East Athlete of the Year, Weirich adds D2CCA Atlantic Region Player of the Year to her impressive senior year resume. Her achievements now include first-team honors for PSAC East, Atlantic Region for the D2CAA and NFCA, and being a PSAC Champion. Weirich finished the year with several national rankings: 11th in stolen bases (41), 15th in hits (82), and 16th in RBIs (61), while batting .398, slugging .617, for a 1.023 OPS (on-base plus slugging). She is the first Warrior outfielder to make the D2CAA Atlantic Region First Team in program history. Last week, she became the first ESU outfielder to make the NFCA First Team in 19 years, since Ashley Miller did so in 2006.

Davenport repeats as D2CCA Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Year and first-team member after being named to the PSAC East First Team and Atlantic Region First Team by the NFCA. She also earned PSAC Championship MVP honors for her performance in the tournament. Nationally, Davenport leads in complete games (29), innings pitched (246.1), strikeouts (393), and victories (32). She is also third in shutouts (13), posting a 1.45 ERA and a .094 WHIP (walks plus hits per innings pitched).

Also repeating on the D2CCA First Team is catcher Delaney Ridgell, who hit .348 and slugged .591, breaking the single-season record for RBIs with 62, which ranks 12th in Division II. Ridgell is the second ESU catcher to earn multiple All-Region First Team honors from the same organization, joining Erika Lee, who achieved the feat with the NCAA North Atlantic Region in 2000 and 2002. Ridgell previously earned first team honors from the NFCA last week.

Rounding out the Warriors' D2CCA All-Region selections is Tatum Kresley, who was named to the Second Team in her first year at ESU. She also earned All-Region honors last week from the NFCA. Kresley, who ranks sixth in Division II with 86 hits, was a threat on the basepaths with 21 stolen bases and 63 runs scored, which ranks seventh nationally, while batting .406 at second base.
