WEST CHESTER, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team wrapped up its regular season on Friday with several personal bests and conference qualifiers at the West Chester Tune-Up.
PSAC Automatic Qualifiers
Carla Bautista (1,500 meters) and Sidney Hutt (1,500 meters) both qualified for the conference championships.
Running Highlights
In the 100 meters, Alyssa Vogt (13.09) and LeAnn Grier (13.34, PR) each placed in the top 10.
Vogt added another top-10 performance in the 200 meters with a time of 27.11.
Hannah Skelly placed fifth in the 800 meters, clocking 2:29.81.
The Warriors dominated the 1,500 meters with a pair of lifetime bests and conference-qualifying times from Bautista (4:52.62) and Hutt (4:52.65), who placed first and second, respectively.
Mia Sisilli finished fourth with a personal-best 4:55.93, while Gabriela Orama followed in fifth with a PR of 4:58.62.
Anthonette Bantamoi placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.75.
In her collegiate debut in the 400-meter hurdles, Marissa McDougall finished sixth with a time of 1:11.13. Bantamoi added a top-10 finish with her time of 1:14.48.
Field Highlights
In the pole vault, freshman Aina Galan cleared 3.20 meters (10-6) to finish sixth.
Reese Ruggiero placed fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 9.83 meters (32-3).
Gertrude Moenga recorded a collegiate-best 10.59 meters (34-9) in the shot put to place seventh.
