EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — Sophomore pitcher Sarah Davenport has earned two All-America honors in as many days, receiving first-team recognition from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Wednesday (First Team) and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (Second Team) on Thursday.

Davenport has collected several major postseason accolades, including PSAC East First Team, All-Atlantic Region First Team (D2CCA, NFCA), Atlantic Pitcher of the Year (D2CCA), and now two All-America selections. This marks her second consecutive year earning honors from both All-America organizations, after becoming the first All-American in program history last season.

This season, Davenport leads the nation in strikeouts (393), complete games (29) and wins (32). She ranks second in innings pitched (246.1), third in shutouts (13), 20th in earned run average (1.45), and 21st in WHIP (0.94).

The NFCA will announce its national Pitcher of the Year on May 30. Davenport won the award last season as a freshman.
