EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa.--The Department of Athletics is pleased to announce outstanding academic results from the spring semester, with student-athletes achieving a collective departmental GPA of 3.39. These results continue to underscore the student-athletes' strong commitment to academic and athletic excellence.
On the women's side, Women's Cross Country led all programs with a remarkable 3.81 GPA, followed by Women's Soccer at 3.79, and Women's Swimming close behind with a 3.73 GPA. For the men, Men's Soccer earned top academic honors with a 3.44 GPA, with Men's Indoor Track and Field and Men's Cross Country rounding out the top three at 3.41 and 3.36 GPA, respectively.
A total of 90 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 GPA, and an impressive 76.93% of all student-athletes achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher—a clear reflection of their discipline and drive in balancing the demands of sport and scholarship.
The department continues to invest in academic resources and support services, ensuring student-athletes are equipped to succeed both in competition and in the classroom.
