EAST STROUDSBURG, PA. — East Stroudsburg University (ESU) has once again established itself as a leader in academic excellence within collegiate athletics, topping all 18 member institutions in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) with 361 student-athletes named to the 2024–25 PSAC Scholar-Athlete list.
To earn this distinguished recognition, student-athletes are required to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 through the conclusion of the academic year. ESU not only led the conference in total honorees but also achieved the highest percentage of scholar-athletes, with an outstanding 64 percent of its 560 student-athletes earning the accolade.

Other leading institutions include Bloomsburg (313 honorees), Seton Hill (302), and Slippery Rock (297), yet ESU distinguished itself by leading both in total recipients and overall percentage.
