Cole Gorham has earned a prestigious spot on the 2024-25 Academic All-America® Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators. Gorham was named to the Division II Second Team, recognizing his excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
A standout in the shot put and discus, Gorham capped off his collegiate career with a third-place finish in the shot put at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships, marking 18.34 meters (60 feet, 2 inches) on his final throw. That performance made him the first athlete in ESU history to earn two All-America honors during the same outdoor championship weekend, bringing his career total to five All-America accolades.
In the classroom, Gorham maintained a 3.50 GPA while majoring in Exercise Science, demonstrating the same discipline and drive that made him a force in competition.
Gorham joins a select group of student-athletes nationwide who exemplify the balance of academic rigor and athletic achievement. His recognition places East Stroudsburg University on the national stage, celebrating the Warrior spirit of excellence.
