EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team played Lock Haven University to a 1-1 draw in a PSAC East contest on Wednesday night at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
Following a scoreless first half, freshman Lily O'Brien (Magnolia, Del.) put the Bald Eagles on the board in the 49
th minute to make the score 1-0.
Just 23 seconds later, junior
Sophia Lowery netted the equalizer for the Warriors to knot the score at one.
Both senior Emmy Clarkson and Lock Haven senior Megan Miller (Wexford, Pa.) made five saves apiece while each allowing a goal.
The Bald Eagles held a 13-6 advantage in shots while each team had two corner kicks.
East Stroudsburg (0-0-2 overall, 0-0-2 PSAC East) remains home for a conference clash with Shepard University on Saturday, September 13 at 1:00 p.m. Lock Haven (1-1-1 overall, 0-1-1 PSAC East) hosts No. 23 ranked Kutztown University on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
