EAST STROUDSBURG NOTES
- The ESU women's basketball team travels to Mansfield for a midweek matchup at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15. This game kicks continues a three-game stretch, with road matchups at Mansfield on Thursday and Shippensburg on Saturday.
- The East Stroudsburg women's basketball team came up just short in a tightly contested PSAC home matchup, falling 71-68 to Bloomsburg Tuesday evening. Brooke Droege led the team with 19 points, grabbed five rebounds, had three steals, and three assists. Lacie Kringe and Brie Droege each contributed 14 points and combined for 14 rebounds. Brie added four assists and two steals, while Caitlin Marten grabbed five rebounds and scored 10 points.
- Brooke Droege has ESU's lone PSAC East Athlete of the Week award so far this season, winning the honor on Nov. 18. She totaled 35 points, 15 rebounds, eight steals, and three blocks across two games.
- Consecutive starters for the Warriors have been Lacie Kringe, Avery White, Brooke Droege, Brie Droege, and Caitlin Marten. With this lineup, the Warriors have gone 8-5.
- The Warriors average 65.3 PPG, 37.1 RPG, 15.6 APG, 10.8 SPG, and have shot 39.9% from the field.
- Against PSAC opponents the Warriors average 68.0 PPG, 35.0 RPG, 15.8 APG, 10.1 SPG, and have shot 42.1% from the field.
