LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University men's track and field team competed at the Bison Tune-Up hosted at Bucknell as they prepare for the PSAC Championships next weekend, adding two more automatic qualifying marks.
Track Events
In the 200m, Miguel Charlery placed seventh (22.43) and Jaylen Morrison placed 12th (22.06).
Chase Temple placed third in the 400m with an automatic PSAC qualifying time of 50.60.
In the 800m, Lucas Thaler ran a time of 2:00.45 which placed 12th. In the mile, Ethan Willard and Andrew Dowdell placed 10th and 11th respectively.
Andrew Tatesure ran an automatic PSAC qualifying time of 8:50.36 in the 3000m and placed third.
Evan Wooby placed second in the 5000m with a time of 16:13.09.
Field Events
In the high jump, Jalen Cook placed first with a mark of 2.05m (6-08.75). Peter Stanislavsky placed third (2.00m / 6-06.75), Albert Morton placed fifth (1.95m / 6-04.75), and Jaden Johnson placed seventh (1.85m / 6-00.75). Morton recorded an automatic PSAC qualifying mark.
In the long jump, Stanislavsky placed third with an automatic PSAC qualifying mark of 6.90m (22-07.75).
Johnson also placed first in the triple jump with a mark of 14.24m (46-08.75).
Jalen Gaymon placed seventh in the shot put (15.47m / 50-09.25) and 11th in the weight throw (14.96m / 49-01).
Anthony Voto took first in the weight throw with a mark of 20.03m (65-08.75).
