EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — After an impressive 2-0 start with blowout wins over ranked opponents, the ESU women's lacrosse team has continued to move up the rankings in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and USA Lacrosse polls.
The Warriors are now slotted 12
th by the IWLCA and sixth by USA Lacrosse. Previous rankings had them at 13
th and 11
th in each poll, respectively. ESU has opened the season with 13- and 10-goal wins over No. 17 Seton Hill and No. 23 Bentley, dropping both teams in the rankings. The Warriors have their first multi-game week of the season coming up, as well as their first road game, as they travel to Indiana (Pa.) to take on the Crimson Hawks at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, and return home to host Georgian Court at noon on Saturday, Feb. 28.
