LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University softball team earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Pitcher and Athlete of the Week honors following an impressive week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon. Sarah Davenport was named the PSAC East Pitcher of the Week, her second consecutive, while Katie Master picked up her first PSAC East Athlete of the Week honor of the season.
The Warriors went 3-1 at Creekview Park against Wilmington (Del.) and St. Thomas Aquinas. ESU defeated Wilmington 3-0 in the opener before falling 11-6 in game two. On Saturday, the Warriors swept St. Thomas Aquinas, winning 8-4 and 13-5.

Master earned her first PSAC Athlete of the Week honor after a standout performance. Through four games, Master went 5-for-10 at the plate, hit three doubles, two home runs, five RBI, and stole three bases.
Against St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday, Master scored three runs on two hits, including a double and a home run, and added an RBI. In the bottom of the sixth of the second game, Master hit a three-run home run.
In Saturday's doubleheader against STAC, Master scored three runs on two hits, hit a double and homer, and had one RBI. In the bottom of the fifth of the second game, Master opened the inning with a home run.

Davenport earned her second consecutive PSAC East Pitcher of the Week honor after another strong showing.
On Feb. 18 against Wilmington, she struck out eight, allowed five hits, and did not give up a run in a 3-0 victory. On Feb. 21 against St. Thomas Aquinas, she recorded 10 strikeouts while allowing four runs on eight hits in an 8-4 win.
Across 14 innings pitched, she totaled 18 strikeouts, allowed four runs on 13 hits, and posted a 1.00 ERA. This marks her second weekly PSAC honor of the season and 10th career honor.
