LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its 2026 Preseason Poll on Thursday afternoon, revealing that ESU was picked to finish second in the Eastern Division.

The Warriors received one first-place vote in the division, with the remaining six going to West Chester. Following ESU are Kutztown, Millersville, Shippensburg, Bloomsburg, and Shepherd. The Warriors are coming off a 15-6 season and an NCAA Atlantic Region Semifinal appearance.

ESU has garnered national recognition during the preseason, coming into the season ranked No. 14 by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association and placing three on the USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American teams. Leading the Warriors are their trio of preseason All-Americans, Sadie Kauffman on attack, Molly Atwell on defense, and Abby Simonetti in net.

The Warriors open their season at home against Seton Hill in a non-conference battle at Whitenight Field, pitting ESU against the No. 17 Griffins at noon on Saturday, Feb. 14.
