Four Warriors Earn Gold; Men Finish Fourth Overall

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University men's track and field team won four events and totaled six All-PSAC performances at the 2026 PSAC Indoor Championships, finishing fourth with 75 points.  

All-PSAC Performances

  • Champion - Anthony Voto – Weight Throw – 20.23m - Meet Record 
  • Champion - Jalen Cook – High Jump – 2.02m 
  • Champion - Jayden Brown – Triple Jump – 14.68m 
  • Champion - 4x400m - Stank, Miller, Temple, Jackson – 3:20.52 
  • Third - Anthony Voto – Shot Put – 16.72m 
  • Third - Daniel Smith – Triple Jump – 14.47m 

Track Events 

Miguel Charlery placed sixth in the 200m finals with a time of 22.66.  

In the mile, Matthew McNair placed 15th with a time of 4:28.64 and 11th in the 5000m with a time of 15:38.52. Ethan Holcomb placed 15th in the 3000m with a time of 8:55.94 and seventh in the 5000m with a time of 15:26.45. Landon Boyle rounded out the Warriors in the 5000m with a time of 16:02.34. 

Raqeeb Somoye earned a podium finish in the 60m hurdles finals with a sixth-place finish and time of 8.39. 

The men's 4x400m relay, consisting of Michael Stank, Ajani Miller, Chase Temple, and Mark Jackson took gold with a 3:20.52 time. 

The distance medley relay consisting of Ethan Willard, Jaylen Morrison, Lucas Thaler, and Bryce Keenoy placed ninth with a time of 10:43.90. 

Field Events 

Jalen Cook claimed gold in the high jump with a best mark of 2.02m (6-07.50). Peter StanislavskyDaniel Smith, and Kamoni Smith-Johnson also earned podium finishes with their respective fourth (2.02m, 6-07.50), sixth (1.97m, 6-05.50), and eighth (1.97m, 6-05.50) place finishes. Albert Morton just missed out with a ninth-place finish and mark of 1.92m (6-03.50), while Jaden Johnson placed 11th (1.87m, 6-01.50). 

In the pole vault, Chris Costa placed ninth with a mark of 4.53m (14-10.25). 

In the long jump, Stanislavsky placed 10th (6.99m, 22-7), Daniel Smith placed 12th (6.80m, 22-03.75), and Nasir Heard placed 13th (6.69m, 21-11.50). 

ESU placed four on the podium in the triple jump. Jayden Brown was named the champion with a NCAA Provisional mark of 14.68m (48-2), while Daniel Smith also earned All-PSAC honors in third with a mark of 14.47m (47-05.75). Peter Stanislavsky placed fifth (14.27m, 46-10), Jaden Johnson placed seventh (14.03m, 46-00.50), Nasir Heard placed 10th (13.84m, 45-5), and Gabriel Tsayo placed 14th (13.62m, 44-08.25). 

Anthony Voto defended his title in the weight throw with an NCAA Provisional mark of 20.23m (66-04.50). Voto also earned All-PASC honors in the shot put with his third-place finish. His best throw of 16.72m (54-10.25) was an NCAA Provisional.  

Jalen Gaymon placed 11th in the shot put (14.79m, 48-06.25) and 14th in the weight throw (15.10m, 49-06.25).
