BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team won two events and totaled eight All-PSAC performances at the 2026 PSAC Indoor Championships, finishing second with 88 points. This marked the highest finish for the Warriors since their runner-up finish in 2014, following a third-place showing at last year's meet.
All-PSAC Performances
Track Events
Aaliyah Cancel qualified for the 400m finals and placed second with a time of 58.10 to earn All-PSAC honors.
In the 800m, Ashley Landis and Riley Trentowski earned podium finishes with their sixth and seventh-place finishes. In the mile, Trentowski earned All-PSAC honors with her second-place finish with a time of 5:01.36, while Carla Bautista placed 12th (5:17.43).
Sarah Williams placed fourth in the 3000m with a time of 10:20.58 and placed ninth in the 5000m (18:15.17). Carla Bautista also placed 15th in the 3000m (10:47.59), while Kiera Wimbush placed 19th in the 5000m (19:30.30).
Makayla Smith qualified for the 60m hurdles finals and placed eighth with a time of 9.21.
The 4x400m relay, consisting of Makayla Smith, Alexis Ray, Riley Trentowski, and Aaliyah Cancel placed seventh with a time of 4:02.63.
The distance medley relay earned All-PSAC honors with their second-place finish in 12:12.60. The relay consisted of Carla Bautista, Alexis Ray, Ashley Landis, and Riley Trentowski.
Field Events
In the high jump, both Shannon Harnett and Porschia Bennett recorded NCAA Provisional marks and earned All-PSAC honors. Harnett claimed a gold medal with a mark of 1.77m (5-9.75), which moves her to second all-time. Bennett placed second with a mark of 1.74m (5-08.50).
Aina Galan earned a silver medal in the pole vault with a mark of 3.65m (11-11.75), while Reese Ruggiero also earned a podium finish with her fifth-place finish (3.50m, 11-05.75).
In the long jump, Harnett placed fourth with an NCAA Provisional mark of 5.76m (18-10.75), which ties the school record. Harnett also earned All-PSAC honors in the triple jump with her third-place finish. She recorded an NCAA Provisional mark of 11.77m (38-07.50).
Ayanna Paige placed 13th in the long jump (5.22m, 17-01.50), while Karla Tshiyonga placed 16th in the triple jump (10.75m, 35-03.25).
Gabriela Pifano earned a gold medal in the shot put with an NCAA Provisional mark of 13.64m (44-9), which ranks her second all-time in program history.
Emily Edelman placed ninth in the shot put with a mark of 12.22m (40-01.25) and 18th in the weight throw (11.74m, 47-06.50). Bailey Grassmann placed 11th in the shot put with a mark 14.49m (47-06.50), while Aoife McAuley placed 11th in the pentathlon with 2882 points.
