LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- East Stroudsburg University women's track and field Shannon Harnett was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the league on Monday. 

On Saturday at the Widener Indoor Classic, Harnett took first in the triple jump with a record-breaking mark of 12.10m (39-8 ½). She surpassed her own school record of 39-3 she set in 2025. Harnett leads both the PSAC and Atlantic region, while ranking 18th in DII. 

Harnett also placed second in the high jump with a mark of 1.70m (5-7).
