NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Wrapping up the non-conference section of their schedule with a 5-0 record and three wins over ranked opponents, the Warriors entered the top 10 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll.
 
ESU jumped two spots from 12^th to 10^th this week after a 24-9 drubbing of No. 14 Adelphi, the most goals scored and largest margin of victory ever for the Warriors against a ranked team. The win was ESU's third over a top-25 opponent, with all three being by double-digit goal margins.
 
The Warriors head into PSAC play on a tear, as they cruised through non-conference competition. With a perfect 5-0 record, the Warriors lead Division II in a handful of categories, like scoring offense (19.6 GPG), scoring margin (14.0 GPG), have had the second-best save percentage (.600), and the third-best scoring defense (5.6 GPG). ESU takes on No. 17 Kutztown next on the road at 3 p.m. this Wednesday for its first conference game of the season.
