LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- East Stroudsburg University's Sarah Davenport was named the NFCA Division II National Pitcher of the Week for the first time this season, the association announced Tuesday. 

Davenport was just named the PSAC East Pitcher of the Week for the third time this season and the 11th time in her career, while the NFCA recognition marks the fifth of her career.

Across three games, she totaled 27 strikeouts, allowed six hits and one run over 21.0 innings, posted a 0.33 ERA, and improved to 14-6 on the season.

Against Shippensburg on Friday, Davenport recorded nine strikeouts and allowed just one run on four hits.

In game one against Shepherd on Saturday, Davenport tossed her third career perfect game and the program's fourth, striking out 12 of the 15 batters she faced. In game two, she added six strikeouts while allowing just two hits.
