- Paige Moreland, Roth's partner on attack, had a strong outing as well. She scored two goals herself and dished out two helpers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- ESU had two shutout frames, opening the game with an 7-0 run. The Warriors took advantage of free-position opportunities, as Kauffman and Ariana Tucci scored two goals in the first two minutes. ESU's next two goals came on man-up opportunities, pushing the lead to 4-0 with 8:48 remaining. With 6:30 left in the frame, Roth came up above the goal line and saw Izzie Mintz cutting behind her defender towards the goal. Her pass connected, and Mintz buried the shot, giving Roth her 100th career assist. Lauren Hallman added another goal less than a minute later, and Kauffman completed her hat trick with 2:10 left for the final goal of the opening 15 minutes.
- Shepherd got on the board after a scoreless first five minutes to the second quarter, scoring two of the next three. Hadley Robertson and Rebekah Forney got two goals for the Rams, while Roth and Mintz restored ESU's seven-goal lead. Jamie Butt got in on the scoring with 5:33 left in the half, making it 10-2.
- The Warriors put together another dominant period of play, outscoring the Rams 7-0 out of the break. Kauffman opened the half with her second free-position goal of the day, followed by Juliana Callison's first tally of the game. Moreland added to the lead, turning the corner around her defender for an unassisted goal, then helped on Hallman's tally two minutes later. ESU added three more goals, two from free-position attempts, as Courtney Reynolds, Roth, and Callison made it 17-2.
- In a low-scoring frame, ESU outscored Shepherd 3-1 down the stretch. Delia Lederman scored her fifth goal of the season, making her 2-2 on free-position shots this year. A Shepherd goal from Aubrey Harrison was sandwiched between tallies by Moreland and Mintz, making the final 21-3.
GAME NOTES
- Roth now has 104 career assists, putting her 10 shy of the program record. With one game before the conference tournament, Roth will need 11 to pass Lauren Nunes' 114 recorded from 2013-16.
- The Warriors have now scored the second-most goals in a season in program history, recording 308 heading into the regular season finale. The only season ESU scored more goals was in 2022, netting 328.
