INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The East Stroudsburg University softball team was listed in the first Atlantic Region rankings, the NCAA revealed Wednesday evening.
At the time of the release, the Warriors are 25-15 and are one of six PSAC teams in the rankings. The other four teams that are included in the alphabetical list are in the MEC.
The NCAA regional rankings ultimately determine the team's selected to the NCAA DII Softball Tournament. Wednesday marked the first set of regional rankings released by the NCAA, with two sets of numerical listings to follow.
