EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University men's track & field team split the weekend to conclude the regular season at the 2026 Penn Relays and the Carol & John Covert Classic.
2026 Penn Relays
Peter Stanislavsky placed seventh in the high jump with a mark of 2.01m (6 feet, 7 inches), while Jalen Cook cleared 1.96m (6 feet, 5 inches).
In the long jump, Daniel Smith posted a mark of 6.65m (21 feet, 10 inches) while Nasir Heard posted a mark of 6.50m (21 feet, 4 inches).
In the triple jump, Smith placed 12th with a mark of 14.64m (48 feet, ½ inch). Jayden Brown posted a mark of 14.13m (46 feet, 4 ¼ inches).
Carol & John Covert Classic
Jaylen Morrison placed third in the 100m with a time of 11.07, while Michael Stank also placed third in the 400m with a time of 50.45.
In the 400m hurdles, Gabriel Tsayo placed second with a time of 57.87.
Andrew Dowdell ran a 2:04.28 time in the 800m, while Aiden Voth ran 4:14.70 and Ben Pentz ran 4:26.55 in the 1500m. Jack Becker placed seventh in the 5000m, finishing in 16:44.36.
Jalen Gaymon placed third in the shot put (14.57m), fourth in the discus (42.53m), and 10th in the hammer (41.38m). Jacob Carney placed seventh in the discus (38.48m) and 11th in the javelin (48.44m).
