EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University women's track & field team split the weekend to conclude the regular season at the 2026 Penn Relays and the Carol & John Covert Classic.
2026 Penn Relays
Shannon Harnett placed third in the women's high jump championship with a mark of 1.70m (5 feet, 7 inches), while Porschia Bennett placed eighth after clearing 1.65m (5 feet, 5 inches).
In the triple jump, Harnett placed seventh with a mark of 12.07m (39 feet, 7 ¼ inches).
In the pole vault, Aina Galan placed 10th with her record-breaking performance. Galan cleared 3.75m (12 feet, 3 ½ inches) to break her previous school record of 3.73m she set on April 11.
Carol & John Covert Classic
Alexis Ray ran a time of 27.53 in the 200m, placing eighth.
Morgan Salmon led the Warriors in the 800m with her 11th place, finishing in 2:28.21. Hannah Skelly finished in 2:32.47, Tara Haring finished in 2:33.24, and Gabriela Orama finished in 2:36.00.
Orama also competed in the 1500m, finishing in 5:08.37. Sidney Hutt led ESU with her 17th place, finishing in 5:05.15, while Megan Elgrim finished in 5:33.54.
In the 400m hurdles, Eyinah Smith placed third with a time of 1:08.69. Karla Tshiyonga finished fourth in 1:10.20, while Anthonette Bantamoi finished fifth in 1:18.12.
In the high jump, Victoria Phillips cleared 1.50m (4 feet, 5 inches) to place fifth. Autumn McNutt placed eighth in the long jump, posting a best mark of 4.72m (15 feet, 6 inches).
Gabriela Pifano led ESU in the shot put with a mark of 11.66m (38 feet, 3 ¼ inches). Emily Edelman placed eighth in the shot put (10.81m) and sixth in the hammer (43.20m). Bailey Grassman earned a PSAC qualifying mark in the hammer with a mark of 45.61m (149 feet, 8 inches).
