INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The East Stroudsburg University softball team was ranked second in the NCAA Atlantic Regional Rankings, released in numerical order for the first time this season.
At the time of the release, the Warriors sit at 30-16 and are one of seven PSAC teams featured in the rankings. They'll close out the regular season this weekend with a road trip to Bloomsburg on Friday before returning home to host Mansfield on Saturday.
The NCAA regional rankings ultimately determine the team's selected to the NCAA DII Softball Tournament. Wednesday marked the first set of numerical regional rankings released by the NCAA, with the second set to come on Wednesday, May 6.
