LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – East Stroudsburg University men's track and field athlete Anthony Voto was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Co-Field Athlete of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
At the All-American Meet on Saturday, Voto won all three of his events and earned PSAC qualifying marks in each. He highlighted the meet with a record-breaking hammer throw of 66.77 meters (219 feet 1 inch). His mark broke the school, meet, and stadium records. Voto recorded a mark of 16.25 meters (53 feet 3 ¾ inches) in the shot put and a mark of 48.32 meters (158 feet 6 inches) in the discus.
For hammer throw, he ranks first in both the PSAC and the region, and second nationally in Division II. Voto ranks fifth in the PSAC and sixth regionally for discus, while he also ranks fifth in the PSAC and seventh regionally in shot put.
