4/7/2026 3:08:00 PM

SPARKS, Md. — After another dominant performance in ESU's 19-9 win over No. 16 Kutztown on Saturday, USA Lacrosse Magazine named Sadie Kauffman its Division II Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

Kauffman scored five times and recorded four assists, finishing with at least nine points for the fifth time this season. She tallied the game's first two goals in the opening two minutes and factored in on the Warriors' final four goals to put the contest away, adding a goal and a pair of assists to her statline during the middle two frames. Aside from her scoring, Kauffman was a force in the midfield, securing eight draw controls, causing one turnover, and coming up with one ground ball.

She stands at the top of Division II, averaging an even 7.0 PPG with 61 goals and 23 assists on the season, leading the Warriors to a program-best 12-straight wins to start the year. Kauffman has now been named the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division II Player of the Week twice this season, in addition to one Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Division II Athlete of the Week nod and earning PSAC East Athlete of the Week four times.

Kauffman and the Warriors look to extend their winning streak to a record-breaking 13 wins at 3 p.m. tomorrow, April 8, in Bloomsburg, Pa. against the Huskies.
