WEST CHESTER, Pa. — The ESU baseball team's 2026 season came to a close in the Atlantic Regional pod at West Chester, falling to the Golden Rams, 14-7.
After dropping yesterday's game, the Warriors entered the day needing to win two games to advance to Super Regionals. The Golden Rams, however, picked up right where they left off, jumping out to a 7-0 lead after the top of the second. ESU got on the board as
Ryan Manning hit his fifth home run of the season, scoring
Cole Serfass, to make it 7-2 in the bottom half of the inning.
The Golden Rams would extend their lead to nine just past the halfway mark, leading 12-3 through the top of the sixth. The Warriors made up some ground to shrink their deficit, as Manning went yard again to open the sixth inning.
Braydon Hubbard and
Zander Condeelis followed up with back-to-back singles, and
Easton Albert and
Troy Davis drew consecutive bases on balls to walk in a run.
Walker Zampella singled to bring in one more run, making it 12-6, before a double play ended the inning.
Parker Frey would hit a solo home run in the seventh, his third of the year, which stood as ESU's final run.
The Warriors finished the 2026 season with a 37-16 record, going 21-7 in-conference and earning a share of the PSAC East regular season title.
