BINGHAMTON, Pa. -- The East Stroudsburg University softball team's comeback fell short against No. 23 Shippensburg in the 2026 PSAC Softball Tournament, as the Warriors dropped an 8-5 decision to finish as tournament runner-up.
Despite trailing 5-0, Maddy Pritchard delivered a grand slam to pull the Warriors within one run in the top of the sixth. The bases were loaded after Megan Chroniger reached on a fielding error, Katie Master singled through the left side, and Kaitlynn Colangelo added a single to center field. Pritchard then hit a home run to centerfield, her fourth of the season.
The Raiders answered with three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. In the seventh, Master drew a walk and later scored on Brennan Corr's RBI single to left field to make it 8-5.
