GILBERT, Ariz. — The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) revealed its 2026 Division II Scholar Athletes and All-Academic Teams on Tuesday morning, naming nine Warriors individually and the ESU women's tennis team as honorees.

In order to be an ITA Scholar Athlete, student-athletes must have a grade point average of at least a 3.5 on a 4.00 scale for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form. To be an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above on a 4.00 scale, list all student-athletes on the institutional eligibility form, and factor in all letter winners from the current academic year into the cumulative team GPA. The ITA dubbed 649 players as Scholar-Athletes and 95 programs as All-Academic Teams.

Listed in alphabetical order, ESU's honorees were Theresa Bauer, Audrey Conover, Alice Ehrenlechner, Bega Gotor, Jenna Kastell, Ariel Kelsick, Jazmine Parker, Lea Stefanovic, and Nia Vivas Montoya. The Warriors' nine honorees, which is just over 80% of their roster, are tied for the most individuals named as Scholar Athletes among PSAC teams and are 10th in all of Division II. ESU is one of six PSAC programs honored as an All-Academic team,  alongside California (Pa.), Indiana (Pa.), Kutztown, Millersville, and Slippery Rock. This is the second year in a row that ESU has earned All-Academic honors as a team, and the Warriors improved their individual honorees by one from eight last year.
