LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- After finishing as PSAC runners-up the past two seasons, the East Stroudsburg University men's cross country team was tabbed second in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Preseason Poll, released Wednesday afternoon. 

ESU received two of the 15 possible first-place votes to earn the second spot in the poll behind Shippensburg, who earned 13 first-place votes. West Chester, Kutztown, and Slippery Rock round out the top five. 

The Warriors earned seven All-PSAC honors and had 10 runners finish in the top 50 at the 2025 PSAC Championships. At the NCAA Atlantic Regional, two runners earned All-Region honors while the team placed fifth. 

The Warriors will open the 2026 season at the WSSU Rams Atlantic Preview hosted by Winston-Salem on Friday, Sept. 25.
