PSAC Scholar-Athlete (2023-24)
2025 Season Highlights: Chaise Albus broke out in 2025 with a strong offensive presence, batting .344 with 44 hits, 31 RBI, and 3 home runs across 38 games. He exploded on April 14 vs. Shippensburg, going 4-for-4 with a season-high 6 RBI, then followed up with 3 hits, 3 runs scored, and a homer in a postseason clash against Lenoir-Rhyne (May 30). Albus also flashed elite speed, swiping 2 bases vs. Fairmont State (May 18) and recording 2 triples in one game vs. Seton Hill (May 23).
In the field, he was sharp in limited defensive opportunities, posting a .977 fielding percentage with 42 putouts and 1 assist, including a season-high 6 putouts vs. Fairmont State. His ability to deliver timely hits, power, and smart baserunning made him a key piece of the Warriors’ postseason push.
Sophomore (2024) (Season Stats): Played in 54 games, making 49 starts primarily in the outfield ... hit .342 (52-for-152) with a .423 on-base and .539 slugging percentage ... recorded nine doubles, three triples, five home runs, 38 RBI and 44 runs scored ... went 16-for-17 on stolen base attempts ... 3-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored against Slippery Rock (5/8) in the PSAC Tournament ... helped ESU set the single-season wins record, capture the PSAC East regular season title, finish as the PSAC Tournament runner-up and advance to the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season.
Freshman (2023) (Season Stats): Played in nine games, making two starts ... recorded one hit, one RBI and two walks ... helped ESU advance to the PSAC and NCAA Tournaments for the second consecutive season.
