2025 Season Highlights: McGrarity emerged as East Stroudsburg’s reliable middle-distance ace in 2025, navigating a packed schedule across the
800m, 1500m, mile, and occasional forays into the
5000m with an engine that just wouldn’t quit.
Outdoors, McGrarity found his stride in the 1500m, with victories at both the Covert Classic (4:01.83) and the All-American Invite (4:09.33), while also placing a solid 8th at the PSAC Championships (4:00.48) to cap the season. He mixed in a trio of 800m races, with his fastest coming at Covert (2:00.59), and wasn’t afraid to test the longer distance — dropping a 15:14.59 5000m at the Bison Classic and staying strong with another sub-15:20 at the Danny Curran Invite.
Indoors, McGrarity opened hot at West Point with a 4:25.44 mile, and never looked back — placing 2nd in the DMR at DeSchriver, 6th in the DMR at PSACs, and finishing inside the top 7 at SPIRE. He consistently landed mid-4:20s mile times through the winter, showcasing endurance and sharp tactical race sense even against deep collegiate fields.
