PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week (2022)
2024 Season Highlights: Emily Wineburg played in 15 matches during the 2024 campaign, starting 14 and providing veteran leadership and stability along the back line. She logged a full 90 minutes in a shutout win over Kutztown (Nov. 6), anchoring the defense with calm and control.
Wineburg contributed offensively with 3 assists, including a key setup in a 2–2 draw at Shippensburg (Nov. 2) and another in a road win at Georgian Court (Oct. 2). She tallied a season-high 3 shots in the regular season finale against Mansfield (Nov. 9), with one shot on goal. Her poise, experience, and consistent defensive play were instrumental in the team’s strong fall finish.
Senior (2023): Started all 19 games … contributed with four assists against Dominican (N.Y), Bloomsburg, Millersville, and West Chester … had 7 shots on goal for an average of 0.438 and 4 points to end the season … contributed 1683 minutes in the back line.
Junior (2022): Appeared in 17 contests ... made 12 starts ... recorded three goals tallying six points ... ranked third on the team in goals (3) and fourth on the team in points (6) ... scored all three goals on corner kicks as centerback ... scored game-tying goal against nationally ranked West Chester breaking their perfect season and seven game/one month shutout streak ... saved potential game-tying goal off the line against Lock Haven (9/14) ... contributed 1,117 minutes on the back line.
Sophomore (2021): Appeared in two games, making one start … earned first collegiate start against Felician (9/4) … helped anchor down the ESU defense to allow one goal per game, which ranked seventh in the PSAC.
Freshman (2020): Season canceled due to COVID-19.
