MILLERSVILLE - Sophomore
Travis Toth placed second in the hammer throw, senior
Andrew Sloves was second in the men's decathlon and senior
Aniyah Williams was third in the women's heptathlon, pacing East Stroudsburg University at the PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday at Millersville.
Nine women's finals and seven men's finals were contested on Friday, with prelims held in the sprints, mid-distance and hurdles and the men's and women's 4x100m relays. ESU's men are fifth with 27 points and the women are sixth with 25 points through the second day of action, with the meet concluding on Saturday afternoon.
The men's and women's 4x100m relays were both ranked first on the entry list, and will both be the top seeds in their fields entering Saturday's final. The women's 4x1 of junior

Danielle Smith ran an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time of 46.92, breaking last week's school record of 47.37 at Lock Haven.

Mark Burgess ran a season best and NCAA provisional time of 40.98.
Women's Recap
Williams had a huge PR to place third in the heptathlon, scoring 4,461 points - 925 points more than her top performance this year and an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. Junior
Theresa Horn, third in the event last year, was fifth with 4,324 points, a PR of 137.
ESU had two scorers in the high jump in sophomore
Christina O'Connor, who tied for fourth at 5-3 3/4, and Horn, who tied for eighth at 5-1 3/4. O'Connor was the defending PSAC indoor champion.
The women's 4x800m relay placed fifth, with junior
Chelsea Morales, junior
Kim Wernerspach, senior
Bridget McCarron and sophomore
Imani Rosario running 9:32.73.
In Friday's prelims, Smith ran the days' top time in the 100m dash (12.03) and the second-best time in the 200m (25.05) going into the final. Smith is the defending PSAC outdoor champion in the 100 and 200 and defending indoor champion in the 60 and 200.
Ventrella qualified for the finals in both the 100m hurdles (3rd, 14.56) and 400m hurdles (6th, 1:03.99). She was three-hundredths off her school record in the 100 and just under a second off her PR in the 400.
Rosario was fifth in the 800m prelims in 2:16.69, the fourth-fastest time in school history.
Men's Recap
Sloves hit the NCAA provisional mark in the decathlon with 6,229 points, a PR of 661 points and the sixth-best performance in school history. He was seventh in the heptathlon in the indoor season, his first career scoring mark for the Warriors. Freshman
Eric Conard was fourth with 5,979 points, a 413-point PR and ESU's 10th-best performance, after ranking 11th through the first five events.
Toth was the runner-up in the hammer with a mark of 184-10 after finishing second in the weight throw indoors. He was fifth in the hammer last year at 172-3.
Other scoring performances came from senior
Frank Fezza, who was eighth in the 5000m in 15:25.20, and Parker-Washington, who was eighth at 21-8 1/4.

Mike Saparito was fifth in 7:58.09.
In prelims, Boham entered as the top seed in the 400m and ran the top qualifying time of 48.01 seconds going into the final.
Parker-Washington, fifth on the entry list in the 200m, ran the day's second-fastest time in 21.76 seconds, ranking sixth on ESU's all-time top 10.
Burgess is seeded fourth entering the 100m dash final, running 10.80, a PR of 15-hundredths and the seventh-best time on ESU's top 10 list.
Freshman
Dmitri Mobley also qualified for the final in the 110m hurdles, taking the final spot in 15.59 seconds.
On Saturday, finals will be held on the track in the 4x100m relay, 1500m, 100m and 110m hurdles, 400m, 100m dash, 800m, 400m hurdles, 200m, 3000m steeplechase and 4x400m relay.
Field event finals will be contested in the men's pole vault, triple jump, javelin, high jump and discus, and the women's discus, triple jump and javelin.
ESU has two athletes ranked #1 on the entry list on Saturday in senior
Corinne Fitzgerald in the 3000m steeplechase, who was third in the 10K on Thursday night, and senior
Matt Tholis in the javelin.
