Travis Toth hit a mark of 187-2 in the hammer throw in his second meet of the outdoor season and the women's 4x800m relay ran the second-fastest time in school history as East Stroudsburg University concluded its annual trip to the Penn Relays on Saturday at Franklin Field.
Toth was sixth in a field of 26 in the men's collegiate hammer which included 23 Division I athletes. Toth, a returning national qualifier, has an NCAA DII provisional mark of 190-1 at Muhlenberg on April 5 and returned to competition after two weekends off in preparation for next week's PSAC Championships at Shippensburg.

Meghan Ragard clocked 9:33.61 in the 4x800m Championship of America event – a time that has been bettered only once in school history (9:31.04 in 1994).
ESU was the final finisher of 29 schools which featured 27 Division I institutions. Wernerspach led off in 2:20.12, followed by Toth (2:24.21), Brady (2:25.32) and Ragard (2:23.98).
This weekend's Penn Relays included two school records – senior
Chris Schneider in the 5000m (14:36.99) on Thurdsay night, and the men's shuttle hurdles (
Adam Robertino,
Ronald D'Eliseo,
Derrick Washington and
Steven Morgan) on Friday afternoon, running 59.81 to break a record set in 1980.
ESU had a total of 22 athletes compete at the 120th Annual Penn Relays.
