EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team won 11 events and added seven new PSAC qualifying marks at the 21st annual Dick DeSchriver Invitational on Saturday.

Tiana Webster put on one of the top performances of the meet, clocking in at 7.19 in the 55m and just missing the meet record by 0.02 seconds. Webster set a PR with the performance, and her time places her fourth in ESU history in the event. Morgan Dey finished second with a PR of 7.30, and now sits in ninth place on ESU's all-time top-10. Dey earned a PSAC qualifier with her time, joining Webster who previously qualified earlier this season.

The Warriors had four of the top-five finishers in the weight throw. Me'Saj Closs, who posted a school record in the event last weekend at the Gulden Invitational, took first place with a toss of 53-3 ½, while Sam Giangrasso finished second with a 49-0. Taylor Barkman registered a 46-0 ½ to claim fourth place, and Alexis Schuldes notched a season-best of 45-7 ¾ to take fifth place. Olivia Ellzy became ESU's newest PSAC qualifier in the event as she posted a 44-6 ¼, and Barbara Grossov rounded out the team's competitors in the event with a 43-9 ¾. The Warriors now have seven PSAC qualifiers in the weight throw this season, which is their most of any event.

Closs also claimed the top spot in the shot put with a season-best throw of 42-5 ½, coming up just shy of her PR (42-7 ½) which is third-best in ESU history. Ellzy finished second with a PR of 41-4 ¼, which moved her into sixth place on ESU's all-time top-10 in the event. Grossov (40-9) and Schuldes (38-4 ¼) both became new PSAC qualifiers with their performances, as they joined Closs and Ellzy who had already previously qualified.

In the high jump, Tatiana Williams took the top spot with a leap of 5-1. Williams had already previously qualified for PSACs in the event, and tied her PR of 5-3 last weekend. Thressia Nixon notched a 4-11 to take fourth place and qualify for conference championships in the process.

Williams also won the triple jump with a PR of 37-2 ½, which places her sixth on ESU's all-time top-10 list. Gianna Gomez finished in second in the event, notching a mark of 34-11 ¼.

The pole vault saw freshman Hannah Frankenfield set a PR and move into fifth on ESU's top-10 list, as her mark of 10-11 ¾ earned her the top showing at the meet. Juliana Schraer tied her PR as she cleared 10-6.

The Warriors got their first conference qualifiers of the season in both the long jump and 400m. In the long jump, Kamya Edmonds' season-best mark of 16-7 ¾ earned her a second-place showing in the event and a PSAC bid. In the 400m, Sarah Klag raced to a second-place finish in 1:00.20 to qualify for PSACs, as her time in the event is the best by a Warrior this season.

Jeanette Jones raced to a first-place finish in the 55m hurdles, clocking in at 8.80 to lead the field.

ESU took the top-two spots in the 800m, led by Allyson Stitzer's first-place finish in 2:32.83. Haven Snyder crossed the finish line in 2:33.45 to set a PR and place second.
