EDINBORO, Pa. – Tatiana Williams claimed the triple jump title and broke her own school record in the event, and Tiana Webster tied the school record in the 60m dash, as the duo led the East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team on the final day of the PSAC Indoor Championships on Sunday. The Warriors finished seventh among 15 teams at the meet with 51.5 points.

On her final attempt in the triple jump, Williams posted a 38-2 ¾ to best IUP's Nikeela Austin's mark of 38-0 ¾ and take first place. With the leap, Williams broke her own school record of 38-1 ½, which she set just last weekend. Williams became just the third Warrior in program history to become a PSAC triple jump champion, joining Trina Carito (2008 indoors) and current ESU Head Coach Quanette Ford (1998 outdoors).

In the 60m dash, Webster earned a silver medal with her time of 7.62, which was a PR for the senior and also tied the school record that was set in 2015 by Danielle Smith. Also scoring for the Warriors in the 60m was Briana Randolph, who set a PR of 7.93 to take eighth place. Her performance tied her for 10th on ESU's all-time top-10 in the event.

The other podium finish for the Warriors on Sunday came from Me'Saj Closs in the shot put, as she earned a third-place showing. Closs registered a mark of 43-7 ¾, which was a PR for the senior and is third on ESU's all-time top-10. Barbara Grossov also notched a PR with her toss of 41-5 ¼, which earned her a fourth-place finish in the event and moved her into sixth on ESU's top-10. Alexis Schuldes was ESU's next top competitor in the shot put, posting a mark of 37-8 ¾.

In addition to her title in the triple jump, Williams also put forth ESU's top showing in the high jump, finishing fifth after clearing 5-0 ½. Jannae Bonds (4-10 ½), Thressia Nixon (4-10 ½) and Ayanna Whittaker (4-8 ¾) were next up for the Warriors in the event.

Jeanette Jones was ESU's top competitor in the 60m hurdles, as she posted a PR of 9.27 to finish seventh in the event and move into fifth on ESU's all-time top-10. Webster also claimed a seventh-place showing in the 200m after clocking in at 25.97.

In the 800m, Brittany Carratura crossed the finish line in 2:21.16 to take ninth place. Her performance placed her eighth on ESU's top-10 in the event.

Finishing behind Williams in the triple jump for the Warriors were Thressia Nixon (35-3 ¼), Gianna Gomez (34-10 ¼) and Kamya Edmonds (33-10 ¼).

Closing things out, the Warrior relay squad of Ariel Kyle, Sarah Klag, Allyson Stitzer and Jeanette Jones posted a season-best time of 4:02.54 to finish in sixth place.

Slippery Rock claimed the team title with 99.5 points to capture its first championships since 2016. West Chester (80) and Edinboro (76) rounded out the top-three in the team standings.
