EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University senior left-hander
Cam Voss has been named a Division II Top 25 Standout, as announced by Perfect Game contributor Nick Herfordt on Wednesday.
Voss (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) yielded just two hits (both singles) through 21 innings of work this season for the Warriors. He also tallied a team-high 42 strikeouts to go along with a 3-0 record and 0.43 earned run average.
He allowed just one earned run on the season and two runs total while limiting opposing hitters to a .032 batting average. Voss recorded double-digit strikeouts on two occasions, including a season-high 12 against Assumption on February 15.
Voss earned two PSAC East Pitcher of the Week honors during the season and increased his collegiate career total to three.
The Warriors finished the season with a 14-1-2 record after sweeping a pair of games against the University of the Sciences at Creekview Park. The season also featured a 10-game winning streak for the Warriors.
