Joanne Ortiz is ranked fourth at 101 pounds and is 2-0 on the season for ESU after joining the Warriors at the beginning of the spring semester. Both of her victories have come in duals and via falls as she pinned Tiffin's Trinity Oredina on January 24 and Springfield Tech's Olivia Meehan on February 8.
ESU will head to Adrian, Michigan this weekend for the Inaugural Cliff Keen National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships. The tournament, which will be held on March 6-7, will be hosted by Adrian College.
