EAST STROUDSBURG -- The College Sports Information Directors of America announced on Thursday that Juan Carlos and Colby Raymond were named to the NCAA Division II CoSIDA All-District 2 Team.

Both Carlos and Raymond were named to the All-PSAC East First Team earlier on Thursday.

The honor is the second consecutive year that Carlos has earned the CoSIDA All-District honors. The business management major sports a 3.91 grade point average, appearing in 31 games and making 27 starts as a Warrior. He was named to the All-PSAC East First Team in 2021, scoring a pair of goals and tallying an assist as a defender. The native of Alicante, Spain becomes the first Warriors men's soccer student-athlete to earn CoSIDA All-District in back-to-back seasons since Christian Bukowski in 2015 and 2016. Since 2002, Carlos is the eighth Warrior to be named CoSIDA All-District multiple times.

Raymond, a sophomore from Kingwood, N.J., becomes the 16th men's soccer student-athlete at ESU to be recognized by the organization for excellence on the pitch and in the classroom. In his first collegiate season, Raymond led ESU with 21 points on six goals and nine assists. He ranked third in the PSAC in assists and 10th in the league in points. He holds a 3.8 GPA as an exercise science major through two semesters. 

The CoSIDA Academic All-District and Academic All-America teams recognize student-athletes for athletic and academic achievements and are nominated and voted on by members of CoSIDA. District 2 of Division II follows the NCAA's regional model and includes all schools from the PSAC, MEC (Mountain East Conference) and CIAA (Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association).
