SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team earned 12 top-five finishes on Saturday at the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg at Seth Grove Stadium.
The Warriors also had runner-up finishes from
Carly Danoski (800m),
Jeanette Jones (100m hurdles) and
Hannah Frankenfield (pole vault) in their respective events.
Running Highlights
Graduate transfer
Carly Danoski finished as the runner-up in the 800m with a time of 2:17.79. This outdoor season, Danoski has finished no lower than second in any of her individual races.
Jeanette Jones opened her day on the track with a runner-up finish in the 100m hurdles with a personal-best time of 14.76 seconds. Jones followed it up with a fourth place finish in the 400m hurdles after clocking a time of 1:06.14.
The Warriors took fourth and fifth in the 3000m as
Kaylene Raczka clocked a time of 11:39.79 and
Samantha Brawner ran a time of 11:48.34 to earn their respective finishes.
Freshman
Madison Palmer paced the Warriors in the 5000m as she took fifth with a personal-best time of 19:24.31.
Graduate student
Tiana Webster took fifth in the 100m dash after clocking a season-best time of 12.10 seconds.
In the 1500m, senior Rachel Davalos took sixth with a personal-best time of 4:58.97.
Field Highlights
Sophomore
Hannah Frankenfield paced the Warriors in the pole vault with a second place finish after clearing the bar at a season-best height of 3.35m.
In the shot put,
Barbara Grossov took third with a season-best mark of 12.07m and freshman
Madison Horahan was right behind in fourth with a throw of 12.05m. Horahan followed that up by placing fifth in the discus with a toss of 38.17m.

The Warriors return to competition on Saturday, May 1 when they head to West Chester for the Last Chance Meet which is scheduled to get underway at 12 p.m.
