EWING, N.J. – In the final race of her season, graduate student
Carly Danoski went out in style as she broke the school record in the 800m on Thursday at the TCNJ Last Chance while also trying to earn an automatic time for the NCAA Division II Championships.
Danoski capped off a huge spring season for the Warriors as she smashed a 25-year-old school record in the 800m to finish as the runner-up in the event. The Clarks Summit, Pa. native clocked a personal-best time of 2:12.44 to eclipse Jan Blake's (2:12.94) record set in 1996 by fifty thousandths of second.
This the second school record set by the women's track and field team this season as freshman
Elizabeth Makar broke a 42-year-old program record in the shot put back on April 10.
