LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- After leading the East Stroudsburg University men's basketball team to a pair of PSAC wins lasts week, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon that redshirt junior forward Carlos Pepin was named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week.
On the week, Pepin averaged 22 points, 13 rebounds, 3.5 steals and a block, all while shooting 48.4 percent from the field on the week against Lock Haven and the Golden Knights.
The Lodi, N.J. native posted a career-game against the Bald Eagles, leading the Warriors with 26 points and 15 rebounds. He made 62.5 percent of his field goal attempts, while also contributing four assists a block and two steals.
Against the Golden Knights, Pepin registered 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while earning five steals and a block in the 66-61 win. Â
ESU has now earned four weekly awards from the conference, with Lakeem McAliley being named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week twice and PSAC Athlete of the Wee once this season.
The Warriors, winners of three consecutive and victors of nine of the past 11 welcome West Chester to Koehler Fieldhouse Monday night at 7:30 p.m.
