LEWISBURG – Senior Isabella Marte won the weight throw as the East Stroudsburg University women's track and field team closed out competition at Bucknell's Bison Open & Multi on Saturday at Gerhard Fieldhouse.

Field Event Highlights

On her way to winning the event, Marte recorded a mark of 14.55m and Madison Horahan matched her personal-best effort with a throw of 14.17m.

In the triple Jump, Kamya Edmonds recorded a season-best mark of 10.76m to take fifth while Janelle Foston leaped 10.08m to finish ninth.

Running Highlights

After securing spots in the 60m dash final, Kayla Horning and Jalen Rhodes took sixth and seventh with respective times of 8.28 and 8.28.

Jeanette Jones led the way in the 400m with a fourth place finish after clocking a personal-best time of 1:01.34, while Ariel Kyle was in 10th at 1:02.84.

Carolina Kaczmarek ran personal-best time of 2:34.69 in the 800m on her way to a 10th place finish in the event

In the 4x400m, Jones, Kyle, Spaccaforno and Horning ran a time of 4:20.34 on their way to coming in sixth.
